Strong families include people who can cope, get through difficulty together, give hugs and prayers. Our faith weaves more strength into our families in America. Strong families don't have to fold to get their disagreements across to one another...they talk and forgive and ask for help as they need it and they start over again--TOGETHER. There's room in strong families for friends and neighbors--they reach out and include others. Faith and family are foundational to a strong America. Look at each other and say "I love you..." I look up and say "Thank you", often". Love is the strongest bond. Even tough love builds strength and protects families.
I invite anyone to take a look upward, and talk to God themselves. God relates, I've discoverd... like we relate to each other. We can offend Him or thank Him or ask for help and forgiveness. As Creator and Savior, God is watching and waiting to be gracious to those who ask for His presence in their lives. I did ask, and He is my "ever present help". I'm loved by my family and by God. God is love, and the love of God never quits and never expires, it can't get used up. It is my greatest 'RENEWABLE' energy--and love works wonders all around the globe. I'm renewed by Christ's life and His love for me. I'm learning more about this....and as I learn patience and reach out to others a better way of life develops. Building bridges to others takes time...and works best if both sides build the bridge. Sometimes bridges are built by one on earth and One in heaven, and with prayer. This works, too. As the song says, "I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God...born of His Spirit, washed in the blood..."of the cross of Christ. He Who loves most deserves to rule. Jesus Christ is LORD...and His love is unmatched. Greater love has no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends...Jesus did it first...and look at our military....that's LOVE IN ACTION, TOUGH LOVE.
